Verizon denied it. Asurion decided it.

The bill says Verizon; the denial says Asurion. Verizon Mobile Protect and Wireless Phone Protection are administered by Asurion, filed at phoneclaim.com/verizon or 1-888-881-2622 — and every rule that decided your claim is one of theirs. This page is the Verizon sheet: the numbers, the two plans' different limits, and the sequence.

Where Verizon customers argue in circles

Verizon's own community forum is full of these claims being explained by other customers — including the thread where a parent learns the deductible on an $80 tablet is $99, inside a thread about a denied Tab S8 claim. Carrier stores and care lines misstate coverage often enough that the misstatements are themselves escalation material: if a Verizon channel told you the rule wrong, write down who, when, and the words, and carry it to step 4 of the ladder.

And know which plan you actually have before you argue limits: the unlimited-claims plan and the 3-claim plan are both "Verizon insurance" at the counter, and customers have been denied under the wrong one's rules.

The fight sequence

  1. Decode the reason (the decoder) and fix its fact.
  2. Supervisor review at Asurion — one call, facts fixed, reference number kept.
  3. BBB complaint — Regulatory Affairs answers these; reversals are documented in its own words.
  4. State insurance regulator — claim-handling complaint.
  5. Verizon executive relations — the seller of the plan, with any store/care misstatement quoted.
